(about)

Video Design for Instructions For A Teenage Armageddon. Performing at the Garrick Theatre in the West End on top of another show, video design helped transform the space quickly. Inspired by teenage diaries and faux-vintage scrapbooks, projections surrounded the performer and aided the performer's direct-address storytelling.

A performer sits in a bedroom set whose walls are projected with a seaside pier and rough sea, a foil balloon and wardrobe alongside.
“Dan Light has created magic with the video design, using the three walls to create stunning pieces of visual art.”
Adventures in TheatreLand
A performer stands smiling behind a white chair, the bedroom set walls projected with a seaside pier and breaking waves.
A performer in a striped top stands in a purple bedroom set, a projected open doorway and torn-paper shapes on the wall behind.
"Dan Light’s video nails the faux-nostalgic aesthetics of a teenage diary."
